NFTs have long since been discussed as the hope for artists to authenticate their works, follow the locations of their art pieces as they travel the world from one collector to the next and provide a fair share for the artist during secondary market sales – so far without real success.

 For the artwork Charlie Stein has developed uniquely for SLEEK, this shortcoming is being remedied through a conceptual approach: By leaving her painting unsigned and putting the signature as an NFT on the blockchain, NFT and physical work are indivisibly connected, only unfolding their value when combined.
